Scientific and Artistic Bilingual Exhibition
British Alliance ELT Centre and Radio Rasant, Germany
Machala-El Oro, Ecuador, 17 Jan 08
Through this exhibition, many children and teenagers from different schools of Machala will have the opportunity to show our drinking water situation with an approach in sanitation and health, especially in children by doing a scientific research; to propose viable ways to save water and on how to improve sanitation; and to express their ideas about the topic by creating poems, making cards and posters, drawing pictures and singing songs.
Thus children and teenagers will raise people's and their own awareness abot the importance of having pure and fresh water for life and they will show they are able to be agents of change in their community by taking an active role to face local and global problems.
The development of this exhibition and other important events around the world will be reported on a special radio broadcast that is being prepared by Radio Rasant, Sundern, Germany as a contribution to the World Water Day on March 22, 2008.
