Seminar on Water Quality
Shimadzu Europa GmbH
Duisburg, Germany, 15 Apr 08
Seminar on water quality
It is estimated that approximately one billion people have no access to clean drinking water. This is, however, the main requirement for a healthy life. Hygienic and reliable water purification and supply is a crucial condition for health and the prevention of epidemics.
In order to guide public awareness on the current critical topics pertaining to water quality, the World Water Day has been designated to take place each year on the 22nd of March since 1993. The United Nations (UN-Water) have been the official organizers since 2003, and the conference has been gaining interest steadily.
During 2008 questions pertaining to water quality, wastewater treatment and wastewater disposal are listed on the program.
On the occasion of World Water Day 2008, Shimadzu invites interested participants to a seminar tour:
April 15, 2008 in Duisburg, Germany
April 16, 2008 in Hamburg, Germany
June 5, 2008 in Würzburg, Germany
During this seminar, experts on the topic of water quality will present lectures and discussions. Within the framework of a workshop, water samples can be analyzed on-site.
