PAHO/WHO in Collaboration with Ministry of Health of Guyana is Supporting the Implementation of National Surveillance System.
The implementation of a Regional Drinking Water Surveillance Systems (DWSS) is an ideal opportunity to foster and promote the relationship between safe water and health and its collective benefits to the development of Guyana. This initiative also promotes the nexus between hygiene and health and its relationship to poverty alleviation in achieving the MDGs in the areas of water, sanitation and hygiene
