Women in Water-management

Within the theme of the UN Water Decade ‘Water for Life’ there is a special focus on the role of women in water-management. Why is it so important that women are involved in water-management? How can women contribute to water guidelines and policies? What role do they play in the water world at the moment and how can they strengthen their position? An attempt will be made to answer these and many other questions on 24 March 2005 in the Dutch Water Museum in Arnhem.
