World Water Day 2009. The right to water & sanitation: actions, not words!

For this year's World water Day celebration, Unicef Netherlands, the Netherlands Water Partnership and Aqua for All, have joined hands again organising an interactive conference to take place in Blijdorp Zoo, Rotterdam, on Thursday 26 March.

Throughout discussions, debates, networking and presentations on innovations, it is the intention to come up with practical solutions transforming the recognition of the right to water and sanitation as a human right by the Government of the Netherlands into actions.

The conference will bring together private sector, development organisations, journalists, lawyers and government organisations.

The working language of the event will be Dutch.
