World Water Day 2009 Oil Painting Workshop for Young Kids

Harnessing God-given resources for the sustainable development of our environment, community and country

10 selected young kids from the host community will participate in a 2-day oil painting workshop starting on March 20, 2009. A brief powerpoint presentation about WWD will be given to set the theme for the paintings. The finished art works will then be displayed at the administration office on March 22. Simultaneously, employees and contractors will plant trees at the periphery of the project site where the buffer zone is located. This was done on March 22, 2007 when over 400 trees, which are now thriving, were planted to celebrate WWD 2007.
