The 15th Stockholm Water Prize Laureate will be announced during a press conference on Tuesday, March 22 at 09.30 in the Stockholm City Hall.

The Stockholm Water Prize Laureate receives USD 150,000 along with a glass sculpture. HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden hands out the Prize during the World Water Week in Stockholm in August. The Prize is always announced on March 22, the UN World Water Day.

The Stockholm Water Prize is a global award founded in 1990 and presented annually by the Stockholm Water Foundation to an individual, organisation or institution for outstanding water-related activities. The activities can be within fields like education and awareness raising, human and international relations, research, water management and water-related aid.
