Virtual Tour of Alaska's only Bioshelter's Water Recycling System

AlaskanEcoEscape
Eagle River, Alaska, Global/Internet, 22 Mar 10

The Alaskan Eco Escape Educational Center

The Bioshelter collects and recycles all of its water, something that may be common in the future. We use about 2 gallons of water per day per person, instead of 2 gallons in a standard toilet flush.

We start the tour in the home's wetland area complete with koi pond and continue through the entire system and how it all works.

Each tour costs $75.00 and lasts about an hour which includes plenty of time for questions. NOTE: tours are on-going, so you can sign up anytime in preparation for World Water Day or on the day itself.

You can sign up through CILC at http://www.cilc.org/search/content-provider-program.aspx?id=2980
or email if you have questions.

If we are to start making a change in the world's water use, we need to know how to do it ourselves and not wait for big business to do it for us.
