22 March 2010- The IGUASSU ITEREI Citizenship Movement Reference Center for Water, Forests and Mountains´ 2010 Water DaY CELEBRATION gives focus to the participation, the prevention and the precautionary essential principles to be addressed when dealing with challenges as the worldwide water scarcity, the importance of preventing and avoiding water pollution, the abrupt climate change , the current loss of biological diversity , and the concomitant lobbied global forces for flexibilization of the environmental laws and regulations, as says the IGUASSU ITEREI cordinator, the pedagogue Léa Corrêa Pinto . The IGUASSU ITEREI 2010 Campaign is a virtual diffusion of civil society emblematic initiatives to save The Cassador Basin .The 2010 Celebratin will start on the 17 th March with the program on television showing the civil society statements inside the IGUASSU ITEREI Water, Forests, Mountains Citizenship Movement Reference Center based in-situ at the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest Peaks, among a threatened net of pure freshwater sparkling streams. 22 MARÇO 2010 - O Centro de Referência do Movimento da Cidadania pelas Águas Florestas e Montanhas Iguassu Iterei, , celebra o Dia da AGUA 2010 difundindo virtualmente ações emblemáticas da sociedade civil com vistas a garantir a salvaguarda da Terra para a presente e futuras gerações. A campanha dá continuidade às realizadas desde 1998 . Conforme, Léa Corrêa Pinto, coordenadora de Iguassu Iterei, a presente contribuição está amparada nos princípios do conhecimento, participação, da precaução e da prevenção, que são essenciais quando se lida com a mudança de clima , a importânica de se evitar a poluição da água, elemento essencial à vida, a perda acelerada da biodiversidade , as crises da água do mundo e o lobby pela flexibilização global da legislação ambiental.
