Six diaries from Bangladesh and five from Uganda show how important local culture is in water, sanitation and hygiene programmes in the developing world. They were written by field staff, co-facilitated by IRC and Simavi and published in 2004 and 2005 in the Diaries section of IRC's bi-weekly Source Water and News service.
