The Indian Council for Water and Culture, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India has organised a lecture on the topic of "Water-Culture and women in India" to mark the World Water Day 2006. The council has presently undertaken a campaign for carrying out the water literacy and educational programmes related to judicious use of water, especially in the women. This activity has also been sponsored by the India Water Partnership. The lecture as well as some other activities like debate in colleges have been organised at Aurangabad on 22 March 2006 in the audotorium of the Dramatics Department of the S.B. College, Aurangabad. The time of lecture is 18.30 hrs. Citizens of City of Aurangabad as well as all the members of ICWC countrywide are invited.
