Walk for Water in Atlanta GA

In many communities around the world, women and children must walk up to 6 miles a day to retrieve clean water for their families. The Walk for Water on World Water Day 2006 is a symbolic act of solidarity and an effort to educate the public about the World Water Crisis. We hope you’ll join us. Event details are below.

Location: Piedmont Park (Map)

Where to meet: In front of the Piedmont Conservancy, at 400 Park Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30306

Walk route: Along 10th avenue in Piedmont Park

Walk time: 12pm - 2pm

Walk distance: 2 miles
