Walk for Water in Boston!

In many communities around the world, women and children must walk up to 6 miles a day to retrieve clean water for their families. The Walk for Water on World Water Day 2006 is a symbolic act of solidarity and an effort to educate the public about the World Water Crisis. We hope you’ll join us. Event details are below.

BOSTON

Location: Starbucks Coffee with the Steaming Kettle at Government Center

Where to meet: Starbucks Steaming Kettle at 11:30 am

Walk Route: Join us for a walk over your lunch hour. We will start and end at Government Center catching a part of the Freedom Trail at Faneuil Hall then taking State Street East to Devonshire to School St. making a right onto Tremont back to Government Center.

Walk Time: 11:30 am meet and greet with a 12:00 – 12:30pm walk time

Walk distance: Approx. 1 mile
