Water for Schools Campaign

IUCN is launching the Water for Schools campaign website

The World Conservation Union (IUCN) has just launched a new campaign - Water for Schools. There are two components to this campaign - Water for Schools - to deliver safe water and sanitation to schools AND Schools for Water - to provide school children with basic education on water, environment and hygiene. This campaign is currently being promoted at the 4th World Water Forum in Mexico from March 16th to 22nd, and commercials are being shown on CNN and BBC over the next 2 weeks. At this stage we are aiming to raise funds for the campaign in order to follow through with our pilot action of providing 1000 schools with water in 10 countries.
