Activity for WWD

The theme ‘Water and Culture’ aims to initiate and inspire action at all levels to understand the importance of water for all of us on this earth.

Water use is such an automatic and habitual activity that we often do not realize that it touches all spheres of life in many ways. Water is there in our religion, in our culture, music, painting, writing, and cinema.Water is our culture, our life!

Can you identify, recall, and recollect poems, stories, proverbs and sayings, related to water and its use in your language? Share them with your school.
