World Water Day Celebration

FONAG + Yaku, Museo del Agua

Yaku, Quito's Water Museum, and FONAG, Fondo del Agua (Water Fund), will celebrate together World Water Day. Entrance to the recently opened Water Museum will be free, and from 10 am several school groups will perform songs and dances celebrating water. At 11 am Ricardo Perotti a famous Ecuadorian singer will perform his songs to the beauty of water and the need to conservation. At 12, Yaku and Fonag will have a formal ceremony. The keynote address will be given by Gonzalo Ortiz, member of the City Council, and president of EMAAP (Quito water and sanitation body).
