World Water Day Celebrations 2006

Brisbane school students will line the Goodwill Bridge tomorrow (Wednesday 22 March) and perform a musical spectacular to mark World Water Day.

Echoes of songs about water will be heard across the river as around 200 students line the bridge from 8am, joined by Queensland tenor Greg Moore and Queensland Youth Choir.

The day’s activities conclude with a one-hour celebration in Queen Street Mall, from 12.30pm, including musical performances, giveaways and award-winning short films about water.
