4th National Environmental Student Art Competition

Who can enter?
All Australian Students aged 6-14 who care about this beautiful planet.
The challenge:
To create an A3 poster to illustrate the most creative ways you can imagine to save and recycle our precious drops that currently end up flowing down the drain or at our sewage treatment plants.
This year’s competition will focus on thinking about the various aspects of water recycling and the life cycle of water from all sources - important issues for health, water-management and sustainability
Students can design a poster or display that examines the myriad of opportunities for water instead of losing it as it disappears down the drain.
• Fresh water conservation and improved health;
• Water-management at home, school and community;
• Industry innovations recycling water
• Recycling sewage
• Water capture ideas
Students are invited to imagine what the world will be like in the future. They can be optimists, or pessimists, scientific, or practical, serious or funny. The themes we will invite them to explore are:
• The planet with and without effective water recycling
• Today’s waste water - tomorrow’s resource!
• Inventions and (sometime zany) ideas to minimize water loss
• New ideas on water recycling—perhaps some that we haven't even thought of?
Entry forms can be downloaded from www.planetkids.biz.
