Water is life

We need help to get water

Dear,

We don't have water but we need it and stand with you on this day to show the world that this scarcity of water should come to an end.

I hereby appeal for help on behalf of Loisukut community, an indigenous Maasai community in Laikipia-Kenya.

This community is asking for help to construct a water dam from a seasonal river.

As you are aware, they have been having conflicts because of the scarcity of water for people and animals.

To get rid of this, they want to harvest water from the seasonal river and store it and even engage in crop farming instead of relying on livestock alone.

For more information on this village see: http://www.ilamaiyo.org or www.nabuur.com and go to Loisukut village.

Your help will be very much appreciated and this is one of the millennium goals we are trying to reach.

Yours faithfully,

Joshua Omondi
