World Water Day Display by the Prairie River Stewards of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada

Prairie River Stewards
Medicine Hat, Canada, 22 Mar 07

The Prairie River Stewards is hosting a World Water Day Display at the Medicine Hat Mall on Thursday, March 22, 2007. The theme is Water Stewardship With a Focus on Domestic Water Conservation. We will be having approx. 20 tables/spaces dedicated to consumer products related to our theme plus other tables about various water issues such as testing the quality of water in our local river, how to manage livestock to reduce impact on rivers, information on Ducks Unlimited, etc. Our City Hall has donated 5 dual-flush Caroma toilets to be drawn for at this display. The Newspapers in Education program with The Medicine Hat News will be staging a contest for school children based on our theme with prizes donated from the community. The display runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the 22nd. Look for the big blue drops on the floor!
