The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and CARE are hosting a reception to recognize and celebrate the considerable array of public, private and non-profit organizations in metro Atlanta addressing water resource issues on an international, national and regional scale. At the event we will be highlighting existing and potential new partnerships; calling attention to the larger issues, what is being done to address them; providing an opportunity for participating organizations to announce new water programs or commitments of significance to media; making a ‘call to action’ - what individuals and businesses can do to advance the issues of water conservation and stewardship locally. Confirmed attendees include CARE, The Carter Center, CDC, CIFAL (U.N.), City of Atlanta, The Coca-Cola Company, Georgia Association of Water Professionals, The Home Depot, Georgia Power, Metro Atlanta Chamber, Metro North Georgia Water Planning District, Southface Energy Institute, TOTO USA, Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, U.S. EPA Region IV
