UNESCO Chair in Water and Environment Management for Sustainable Cities (Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran) will host the Water Day 2017 event. This event aims to emphasize the water issues and raise awareness of the people composing a list of the scheduled activities as follows:
Professors and experts in water and wastewater have talks about water safety, social problems in water, and reducing/reusing wastewater. A short movie about water and a slide show about Iran’s rivers that are mostly drying up will be shown. Some practical projects around the world focus on saving/using water will be explained. Audience will select the winner of the following competition organized by Sanaz Moghim:
“Students of the Sharif University and a school are supposed to take photos that show the role of WATER in our lives.”
In fact, audience will select the best photo. This competition seeks to attract everyone’s attention to the vital role of water in our lives. The event will end with open discussion.
