DHAN Foundation is celebrating the World Water Day on 22 March by gathering 300 farmers from the irrigation tanks both of the Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu state. Experienced farmers who practice water management and better agriculture from the other parts of the state will facilitate. The district collectors will inaugurate the function. A report on the irrigation tanks then will be released.
This function is aimed at a farmer-centered participatory approach in planning, operation and maintenance and long term management of the irrigation tanks.
The function will be 3 hours starting from 10 AM to 1 PM.
