Rep. of Korea - National events
The Water Resources Research Institute and Korea Water Resources Corporation are organizing the following WWD events:
- Ceremony
- co-sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Construction and Management on March 22 at 14:00
- held at Seoul Olympic Memorial Stage in Seoul, riverside of Han river
- address by Prime Minister
- message from representative of UN
- Water Symposium
- co-hosted by Korean Federation of Water Science and Engineering Society(KFWSES) and Korea Water Resources Corporation(KOWACO)
- held at Convention Center of the Federation of Korean Industry Hall on March 22 from 10:00-12:00
- keynote lectures by 3 invited celebrities
- others, including an exhibition and such campaigns as to clean nearby of dams and reservoirs, to invite the kids to the multipurpose dams and water plants, and to open a quiz programme for the public through internet.
