Hands around Dee Why Lagoon - Dee Why Lagoon and wetlands have just been placed on the Schedule 1 list as an endangered ecological community. More than 500 local school children businesses and residents will join hands along the lagoon to act as a symbolic barrier to pollution. This will be linked to a simultaneous Hands along the Ganges in Varanasi India (1.30pm Sydney Time, 8.00am Varanasi Time)
Drink only Water on World Water Day Appeal. To draw attention to the global water crisis, Oz GREEN supporters are drinking only water for the day - to raise funds to support community catchment protection projects in India, East Timor and Papua New Guinea.
