World Water Day 2001 will be organized jointly by All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (AIIH&PH), Kolkata and Indian Water Works Association (IWWA), Kolkata centre at the Auditorium of the Sanitary Engineering Department of the All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, Kolkata on 22 March 2001, at 5.00 P.M.
Special event of the function is a seminar on “Water for Health”. The seminar will be chaired by Dr P H Ananthanarayanan, Director of the All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health, Kolkata. The main speakers in the technical session are:

- Dr A K Chakraborty, Ex-Director, AIIH&PH, Calcutta
- Mr A K R Adhya, Ex-Professor, Department of Sanitary Engineering, AIIH&PH, Calcutta
