Germany - GTZ action
GTZ, the German Agency for Technical Cooperation organizes awareness and publicity actions on March 22nd World Water Day including:
- Organizing a little one-day in-house exhibition about some recent GTZ activities in order to raise awareness amongst all employees and visitors about our international involvement in projects or programmes dealing with water and health aspects.
- Offering telephone interviews on the topic to all major German broadcasting stations. (see attached document hfwass.doc)
- We have circulated a press release which is going to be published in a variety of German daily-newspapers
Last year and the year before the opportunity for telephone interviews was very well accepted by several radio stations (last year 14 different stations) who broadcasted the interviews either in their daily morning or afternoon magazines.
