Bulgaria - national programme
In Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and around the country, World Water Day will be celebrated and recognized. Over 15 cities have planned local river cleanings where citizens will join together to make their water ways cleaner. A media campaign organized by the Age of Love Foundation will highlight the importance and scarcity of water resources through short films and service announcements. A concert and river clean-up will be held in the largest park in Sofia, with prizes and awards for all the participants.
