The Centre for the New Water Technologies (CENTA) working together with the Regional Administration (Consejería de Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucía) has developed the following WWD events:
- Premios Aljibe on Water and Environment
1st Price on Environmental Education whose author is Ms. Leticia Muller García under the title " El agua en el marco de la educación ambiental, desde la perspectiva del desarrollo sostenible”
2nd Price on Sustainable Irrigation Agriculture under the title “Algunas posibles actuaciones para la mejora de la utilización del agua en el regadío andaluz” by Mr. José Antonio Cayuela Sánchez - Presentation of the video: Water Quality, Life Quality
This video enhances the importance of water under an environment-conscious perspective. It is addressed to the population in general and its goal is to sensitize the general public in order to obtain cooperation to preserve water quality in rivers, lakes, and other hydrological stages.
