Awareness Workshop in Duckling School by AYUDH chapter, MPS, Jaipur
AYUDH (Amrita Yuva Dharma Dhara) is an international youth movement of Mata Amritanandamayi Math guided by Sadguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi who is the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader. AYUDH is dedicated to empowering young people to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable world and become compassionate leaders with a sense of tolerance, solidarity and global responsibility. Founded in Kerala in 1985, AYUDH now has units across Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa and Australia. It is active in more than 41 countries worldwide and 23 states in India. AYUDH has more than 70 chapters in India. AYUDH chapter at Maheshwari Public School (MPS), Jaipur will conduct an awareness campaign and workshop on water conservation in Duckling school, Jaipur. The Ayudhians will prepare a presentation on the importance of saving water for the coming generations. We will also prepare charts and awareness videos on water conservation and present them to the students. The theme of 2019 World Water Day being “Leaving no one behind “will come into focus through an interesting skit. There will also be a demonstration and workshop on a self-watering system, which works on the capillary action of water. This model ensures proper irrigation of plants through water conservation without any wastage. The simple bottle acts as an irrigating planter for the sapling. Through this, the students also will learn how waste plastic bottles can be recycled for a better cause!
