Salish Sea Water Ceremony
Sunrise water gathering at the Olympia, WA Artesian Well begins a day of Water Ceremonies: 1) (7AM) at Seth-Chass, the American Indian Tribe (of the Swuaxin Island People) and original Place name for the Deschutes River. Meet in Heritage Park (across from New Traditions) 2) (8:30 AM) at the entrance to Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge (exit 114 off I-5) Ceremonies continue traveling north along Salish Sea with stops 3 at Solo Point, 4 in Steilacoom, 5 at Chambers Creek, 6 Tacoma Narrows, then 7 and 8 will round Point Defiance Park, culminating with 9 and 10 along the historic waterways of the Puyallup Tribe, now mostly City if Tacoma. Final Ceremony will be held on Puyallup Tribal lands along the eastern-most waterway of the harbor.
