Water conservation workshop in schools by AYUDH Mumbai Chapter
AYUDH (Amrita Yuva Dharma Dhara) is an international youth movement of Mata Amritanandamayi Math guided by Sadguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi who is the worldrenowned humanitarian and spiritual leader. AYUDH is dedicated to empowering young people to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable world and become compassionate leaders with a sense of tolerance, solidarity and global responsibility. Founded in Kerala in 1985, AYUDH now has units across Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa and Australia. It is active in more than 41 countries worldwide and 23 states in India. AYUDH has more than 70 chapters in India. AYUDH Mumbai chapter will visit the near by schools of Navi Mumbai and conduct awareness workshop on water conservation. We will use awareness videos and multimedia presentations, also will conduct quiz and poster contest for the students based on the theme given. Ayudhians will also demonstrate self watering and drip irrigation system that has the potential to save water and nutrients. At the end of the session, AYUDH team will lead a pledge to use water more efficiently, reduce pollution and save energy.
