Access to safe drinking water and sanitation services is essential for the human rights and dignity, as well as the survival of marginalized groups – women, children, indigenous peoples, disabled people and many others. Water is a vital part of life. It is more than essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social and human development.
It is on the occasion of World Water Day and the theme of this year 2019 “Leaving no one behind“, that ECEau-Fem leaves its mark by bringing water for the people most poor, maternity and schools in the municipality of Comè, in Republic of Benin, West Africa.
