Photo story competition: Water, partnerships and cooperation
Water Science Policy, under the patronage of UNESCO’s World Water Assessment Program, is running a photo story competition ahead of the UN 2023 Water Conference (22-24 March).
In the words of the organizers: “A picture tells a thousand words. Across history, art has been used as a way to disseminate information, tell stories and inspire action. Photography turns abstract concepts into visual realities, tells inspiring stories in an instant, and helps spread awareness of issues through accessible means.”
The photo story competition aims to generate images that tell a story of “water, partnerships and cooperation”.
The three winners will be officially announced on the 26 February 2023. The top 15 winning pieces will be exhibited at the UN 2023 Water Conference in New York, 22-24 March 2023. All submissions will be considered for inclusion in a photo book and for publication via Water Science Policy’s website. Anyone published receives a free photo book.
