Water campaigner Mina Guli – running 200 marathons in 12 months

Mina Guli is an Australian businesswoman, ultrarunner and advocate dedicated to solving the global water crisis.

Mina founded the RUN BLUE campaign that inspires companies and connects people to take meaningful action on water in the lead-up to UN 2023 Water Conference, the first of its kind in almost 50 years, from 22-24 March 2023 in New York.

In the year leading up to the once-in-a-generation event, Mina will be completing 200 marathons. In September 2022, she celebrated the halfway point after finishing her 100th marathon as part of the NN CPC Loop Den Haag race in The Hague, Netherlands.

Mina said, “With this marathon we start the countdown to the United Nations Summit - our finish line for these marathons and the start line for the global community to unite together around water. This will not be easy. But together we can remind ourselves that we can do hard things.”
